Rhea is a beautiful dusky buff Tabby, with lemon yellow eyes, who was found abandoned and very pregnant. Soon after she arrived at the shelter she went to a foster home where she was able to raise her kittens in a safe and healthy environment. After her kittens were weaned, Rhea was eager to resume her single independent life.

The Humane Society of Greenwood was selected by Brewer Middle School’s Student Council to receive a collection of supplies to help the animals at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. The supplies were collected as part of their monthly donation drive program. We are so grateful for their kindness and generosity! Volunteer help is vital for helping save animals’ lives. Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of services, including kennel enrichment, socialization and dog walking, assist at community adoption events, fund raising, administrative tasks, helping with animal transport, bathing and grooming, providing basic training to dogs, general or spot cleaning kennels or sharing other skills.
