Butch

Butch

Butch fits all the words that define his name — muscular, strong, and strapping. Yet amazingly he wasn’t the picture of health when he was found lost in Ware Shoals. He was emaciated, injured, and a bit timid, unsure of what would befall him next. And today he’s playful, happy, and affectionate, not looking back at his past, but hoping for a better tomorrow. Making up for lost time, Butch loves to play endlessly with his stuffed toys. And with his thick white coat, he looks a bit like a stuffed toy himself. The only thing Butch loves more than his toys is food. Given his physical condition when he came to the animal shelter, it’s no wonder that he joyfully partakes in regular meals. He has a lot of energy, is eager to please, and learning quite admirably how to leash walk. Meet Butch and see why this big strong “teddy bear” of a dog is the perfect addition to your home.

Simon

Simon

At only four-weeks-old, Simon and his brother were found stray in Ninety Six. Living in foster care, where they both could stay healthy and stress-free, they returned to the animal shelter to be adopted. Simon’s brother quickly left for a new home and now Simon patiently awaits the same. Don’t feel sorry for this two-toned black and silver fluff bug, he has a good time anywhere and everywhere he is. He enjoys playing with toys, but mostly he wants to give and receive affection. A gentle stroke of his plush coat or a cuddle and a hug, and he’ll reward the kindness with a soothing purr, a head butt and returned hug. He has rather big paws for a five-month-old youngster, so he is probably going to grow up to be a big boy, which means there will be more of him to love and be loved by!
