Your Missing Pet Could Be At Your Local Shelter

Posted on by Brian Clark

Most of the pets that end up at shelters are lost from their owners; however, a large percentage of pet owners never contact their local shelter in their search efforts. You could help reunite a Greenwood pet with its owner by encouraging your family and friends to contact the shelter at 864.942.8558 or emailing humane@gwdhumanesociety.org. If you have found a lost pet, be sure to also contact your local shelter because you have someone’s pet. Most “stray” pets are simply lost pets who have owners desperately trying to find them.

Visit Missing Pet Partnership’s website for helpful tips to locate your missing family pet.
