Blaze
Blaze is a three-month-young, female Plott Hound and Spaniel mix and a literal burst of energy. She runs hard. She plays hard. She lives hard. Fortunately for her future family, she recently graduated from Camp Good Dog with full honors and has learned some of the “tricks” of being a mature, well-behaved doggie.
Volunteer Orientation, Saturday, July 11, 10a – 11a
Volunteer help is vital for helping save animals’ lives. Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of services, including kennel enrichment, socialization and dog walking, assist at community adoption events, fund raising, administrative tasks, helping with animal transport, bathing and grooming, providing basic training to dogs, general or spot cleaning kennels or sharing other skills.

Animal Shelter closed July 3rd and 4th
In observance of Independence Day, the Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. The shelter will reopen on Monday, July 6th, during its regular hours of operation. For emergency stray animal pick-up or reports of animal cruelty/neglect, please call (864) 942-8632.

She’s a 5 year old Beagle mix who’s ready to become your newest family member. Her house manners are superb and she could easily live inside any size home.

Neka
Neka has been a true life saver at the shelter. This beautiful black and white feline arrived with a litter of her own and proved that her motherly love knows no limits. A litter of orphaned kittens was brought in and Neka adopted and raised them as well. This one-year-old kitty is very laid back and patient and her house manners are excellent.
