Pets of the Week – October 28, 2019 (Penny and Carol)

Penny

Penny

We could all use a few more pennies, right? How about just ONE Penny? This wonderful dog is still waiting for her forever home, and no one can figure out why, because she is AMAZING. She’s sweet, affectionate and, well behaved. Penny loves belly rubs, treats, long walks, and toys. Oh, and she gets on well with other dogs and kids. Basically, she’s just the best. Plus, she’s cute as a button. She’s a two-year-old mixed breed that looks a lot like a Rottweiler, although she weighs less than 40 lbs. So who wants to add one more Penny to their household?

Carol

Carol

You’d be hard pressed to find a Tabby prettier than Carol. This one-year-old kitty has some of the nicest coloring you’re likely to come across – a lovely mixture of grey and rust. It’s truly striking. But pictures don’t do her justice, so you really need to meet her. That’s when you’ll truly fall head over heels, because Carol is a love bug. She likes her toys, but she LOVES her cuddles. And don’t even think about walking past her without saying hello. Sweet, carefree Carol is waiting just for you.

The adoption fees are generously sponsored by Debbie and Graham Smith for both featured pets through November 2, 2019. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the HSOG Adoption Center located at 2820 Airport Road, Tuesday through Saturday, 12p to 5p.
