Our staff is in the clear concerning the case of Coronavirus exposure, so we are once again making adoption appointments. Please continue to look through the available animals first to get an idea of who you are interested in ahead of time, then call 223-2498 to make an appointment. Also, when in the building, please be sure to use social distancing and utilize the hand sanitizer made available.
For any information on Covid-19, please follow CDC guidelines as to the precautions they suggest everyone take.
If you find a pet, you can file an online found pet report and visit the Missing Pet page to see if the pet matches one of those reported missing. Post a photo on social media to spread the word and help find its owner.
We will take ONLY unopened bags and cans of dog and cat food. Please leave them at the door.
HOW YOU CAN HELP THE ANIMALS: We currently have over 100 pets in our care at the shelter. If you have lost a pet, please contact the shelter at (864) 223-2498. If you are interested in fostering a pet, please email email@example.com or call the number above.
Currently, there is no indication that pets can get sick from the COVID-19 virus. Research from around the world including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are studying this issue.
