Petsmart National Adoption Weekend
The Humane Society of Greenwood will be at Petsmart in Greenwood, SC, Saturday, May 14th from 10:30a to 3:30p and Sunday, May 15th from 12p to 4p with adoptable pets from the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. Available dogs and cats will be there for you to visit, play with, and adopt.
Job Opening – PT Lead Veterinarian, HQHV S/N Surgical
Spay/neuter surgeries three days per week, 25 to 30 surgeries per day, 6 to 8 hour days, limited customer interaction, supportive optimistic staff. Pay based on number of surgeries performed. DEA, PLIT and S/N CE paid by HSOG. Training on HQHVSN will be provided, if needed. Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
HSOG Board Giving to “Unleash The Possibilities'” Major Gifts Campaign
The Humane Society of Greenwood Board and Advisor have committed $700,000 to the “Unleash The Possibilities” major gifts campaign. Funds are being raised to build and fund the Adoption Center, Spay/Neuter Clinic, and Community Education Room in the new animal care center being built in collaboration with Greenwood County.
