He stands just knee high to his roommate but there’s nothing small about Hambone’s pet-stature; his heart alone could fill half our kennels, and his love of life — and YOU — the rest. This 3 year-old Chihuahua/mix BFF was found stray near Frank’s car wash, either trying to help or just enjoying the crowd;

2012 Petco Tree of Hope Fund Raiser
When shopping at Petco, make a Tree of Hope donation at the cash register and you will get a paper ornament to personalize and display in the store. A portion of the donation proceeds will be given to selected charities. This year we are tremendously grateful to have been chosen as a participating organization!
Petsmart Santa Claws Photo Event
We will be at Petsmart in Greenwood on December 15 & 16 from 11a to 4p to take your holiday pet portraits. Photo packages are $10.95 ($9.95 with PetPerks membership) and $5 from each package will be donated to the HSOG. Pet Parents will receive one 4″ x 6″ digital photo and an exclusive holiday collector frame.
Frame It Up Fund Raiser
Have Frame It Up, located at 140 Maxwell Avenue, frame and/or prepare a keepsake relating to your pets and $10 or 10% of gross proceeds (whichever is more) will be donated to The Humane Society of Greenwood. See flyer for more information!
Harry to attend Greenwood Christmas Parade
A staff member from Petco will be taking our dog, Harry, to the Greenwood Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 2! Harry is available for adoption and is this week’s pet of the week! Be sure to say “hi” to him.

His vivid smile and jubilant outlook will boot the gloom from a winter’s day; Harry’s 38 lbs. of light-hearted athlete — an outsized handsome but small built Amstaff/Retriever mix who displays the soundness of temperament and willingness to please for which for both breeds are prized. Harry’s only a year and a half old,
