Pets of the Week – September 11, 2017 (Melody and Caleb)

Melody

Melody

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing a tune when you’re around Melody. This spunky, medium-sized, 3 ½-year-old is contagiously happy. She enjoys chasing balls, playing with toys and especially spending time with other dogs. At first, Melody may behave a little shyly, but a little attention and some tasty treats will have her curled up next to you in no time. With a blacker than black coat and perfectly perky ears, this super sweet pup is a super doggie friend.

Caleb

Caleb

Black, white and cute all over, Caleb is a uniquely marked, 3-month-old kitten with the perfect combination of calm, fun and frisky. Living nicely with other kittens and adult cats, Caleb is ready to chase, be chased, and toss around his toys with other feisty felines. When he’s in your arms, he’s relaxed to the max, falling asleep and purring at the highest volume. Sporting a black bow tie on his snow white suit, he’s one sophisticated kitty with a little dose of moxie.

The adoption fees are free for both featured pets through September 16, 2017. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle, Monday through Saturday, 11a to 4:30p.
