Pets of the Week – Week of January 30th, 2017 (Pink and Fluttershy)

Fluttershy

Fluttershy

With shimmering black tabby markings and deep golden undertones, 8-month-old Fluttershy is a delight to the eyes. Her beauty is throughout, too, for true to the My Little Pony character she’s named after, she is gentle and kind to others. She often perches upon her windowsill contently observing the world outside, while still enjoying the indoor comforts. After all the sights have been seen, she’ll share an exciting, detailed report. Friendly to all, yet independent enough to occasionally keep to herself, she’s a cat who appreciates a calm home.

Pink

Pink

7-year-old Pink is as sweet as chocolate chip ice cream. Her coat is cotton white and her adorable ears are dotted with chocolate-colored speckles. She’s calm and relaxed, but she also harbors a spunky, frisky little girl inside who won’t let a good treat pass her by. When she’s feeling feisty, she’ll dart across the yard to pick the perfect spot for chewing her favorite bone, then jet back over to you in total delight when you call her name. Well-mannered, good-natured and full of fun, you’ll not want to miss this super sweet sensation!

The adoption fees are free for both of these pets through February 4, 2017. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle, Monday through Saturday, 10a to 5p.
