Join us at the Grace Street Dog Park on Merrywood Drive in Greenwood for a park dedication and blessing of the pets. This event is sponsored by local churches and community organizations. Local church leaders will be on hand for the Dedication of the Dog Park and Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi the Protector of Animals.
Funds and supply donations will be collected at the event for The Humane Society of Greenwood (HSOG) and PAWS Animal Wildlife Sanctuary (PAWS), two local nonprofit organizations who provide care for unwanted wildlife and domestic pets in need.

Dog Park t-shirts and other specialty items will be available for sale the day of the event, as well as opportunities to participate in the Buy-A-Brick Campaign. All funds raised through these sales will be used toward the completion of Greenwood’s first dog park!
