Violet

Patiently sitting in her kennel, Violet wags her tail and smiles wide at every passerby. She loves to see new faces because her wonderful leash manners have made her a volunteer favorite for walks around the Civic Center. Her chestnut and white coat sparkles in the sun as she pads down the walkway, never thinking of pulling or tugging the leash. This 8 year old lady only leaves your side to roll in the grass and beg for belly rubs. Violet’s good etiquette extends to people of all ages and dogs of all sizes, and her house manners are just as polished. This American Staffordshire terrier mix is well suited for indoor life and just waiting for a couch to call her very own! Ever patient, Violet is hoping for a chance to love a family with her whole heart and make a home complete.

Festus

Festus

Brimming with fun and bursting with cheer, Festus lives up to his name. Latin for festive, his name is just one facet to this gem of a cat. Soft and squeezable, he prefers to be in contact with his people. He purrs and flexes when petted, showing off brown tabby stripes and clean white patches accenting his coat. At 3 years old, he has past the pesky kitten stage, but has kept an ever friendly energy flowing freely. He is ready to be a breath of fresh air to a forever family, and he has perfect poise indoors with tidy litter box manners. Children of all ages and families of 1 to 100 are just fine for this playful feline. He is only waiting for YOU, and then the festivities can begin!
