Hours of Operation

ADOPTION:	Monday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
ADOPTION FEES:	DOGS $85 includes spay or neuter, 6-in-1 Distemper inoculation, Rabies vaccine, Heartworm test, deworming, a microchip identification, and Dog Care DVD CATS $50 includes spay or neuter, 4-in-1 Distemper inoculation, Rabies vaccine, Feline Leukemia Test and FeLV Vaccination, deworming, a microchip identification, and Cat Care DVD

RECLAIM FEES:	Animal Control $25 Impound $10 Boarding $7 per day Rabies Vaccination $10 Microchip Implant $15

To Report Animal Neglect, Cruelty, or Emergency Needs

Residents of Greenwood City or County (South Carolina) should call 911 or dispatch at (864) 942-8679 to report an animal in need. The more detailed information you have — exact address or location, description of animal(s), date, time of incident — the better able law enforcement can assist. You are allowed to make the report and remain anonymous, if you choose. The most important thing is that the animal gets the help it needs.

 

The Humane Society of Greenwood is a not-for-profit organization committed to the compassionate care and protection of animals. Our purpose is to give sanctuary to abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, provide education to the public on responsible and humane pet ownership, encourage the public to spay and neuter their pets by providing low cost surgery, and encourage adoptions of those animals placed in our care.
