Pets of the Week – August 21, 2017 (Sweet Pea and Kaboodle)

Sweat Pea

Sweat Pea — Adopted

With a disposition and beauty as grand as hers, Sweet Pea could not be a better name for this 2-year-old retriever mix. Why? Because she’s so darling, precious, adorable and all the other synonyms for “sweet.” She glams it up with her jet black coat and a lightning bolt of white stretching from her nose to her forehead. Calm and gentle, she is refined and picture perfect, yet she also has a playful side that comes to life whenever she sees a toy in the yard. The perfect combination of all things good, Sweet Pea is the coveted family dog and perfect canine pal.

Kaboodle

Kaboodle

He’s here, he’s there, he’s everywhere! Silly noodle Kaboodle is one feisty little fella who loves nothing more than to entertain. He darts to and fro showing you his lightning fast speed and will challenge you to a game of soccer using his favorite stuffed mouse as the ball. Give him a feline friend to be charmed by his boyish antics and they’ll wrestle and chase each other into blissful exhaustion. Black as soot and as shiny as a new pair of patent leather shoes, this 4-month-old spitfire will make sure you’re always cheerful and living life to the fullest. Visit him at Petsmart in Greenwood.

The adoption fees are free for both featured pets through August 26, 2017. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle, Monday through Saturday, 11a to 4:30p.
