Thanks to the generosity of over 70 donors, including foundations, corporations, local businesses, and individual supporters, we have a transport van! We began a campaign to raise money for the vehicle in late 2013. By May 2014, we reached and exceeded our fund raising goal and have enough designated monies to cover fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs for the remainder of 2014! We thank Ballentine Ford for working tirelessly to find the perfect van — and we do mean “perfect” — and Allegra Print & Imaging for the beautiful vinyl wrap.
As of June 5, forty-four adopted/rescued shelter pets have been transported for spay/neuter surgery without need for additional volunteer drivers and/or vehicles.
