Pets of the Week – Week of January 23rd, 2016 (Buddy and Ginger)

Buddy

Buddy

Buddy, my buddy. What a guy he is. His eyes, those amazing “love me” eyes he has. If you look right into them, you will have an instant soul connection with him. He’s a big boy who thinks he meets lap dog qualifications, so expect him to invite himself into your experience. Treats will seal the deal of his friendship and long-term commitment and he’ll reward you with a big smile, happy wag, and sloppy wet kisses. Buddy loves people and he loves other dogs. He’s what the world needs right now.

Ginger

Ginger (Adopted)

Ginger’s idea of entertainment is to be perched at a window watching birds. She knows all of the different species by name (in Latin), their migration patterns, and many trivial birdie fun facts. (I know, right?) In between her bird studies, she naps. After she naps, she naps. A word of warning: Ginger snaps if she doesn’t get her naps. But after getting her 20 hours of sleep in, she’s ready for the day and all that those remaining four hours will bring. Interested in a cat who requires as much effort as growing weeds? Adopt Ginger.

The adoption fees are free for both of these pets through January 28, 2017. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle, Monday through Saturday, 10a to 5p.
