Her name’s the Italian word for “beautiful” and lap-sized Chihuahua mix Bella lives up to it and more; one look and you’ll see that her face is exquisitely sensitive, and unlike many of her breed, she’s as calm as a cameo. Her owner gave her up because of financial troubles, but 2-year-old Bella’s rich in social graces; she loves everyone, from little kids on up, and she adores the company of other canines. Playtime’s fun time for Bella, she’ll race with the big dogs, then happily run back to you for the ecstasy of your arms. Bella’s heartworm positive but it is very treatable, and she’s working on her housetraining; you’ll see her eagerness to learn written clearly in her eyes the first time you meet her. Don’t wait to take Bella into your life; she’ll show you how low-maintenance a great love can be, and how easily her gentle-strong affection translates into your family’s dream. This entry was posted in Pets of The Week.
